Privacy Policy

AgentNotes is built by Supersonic Software, Inc. ("Supersonic", "we", "us"). This policy explains what data we collect, why, and what we never do with it. The short version: what AgentNotes captures about your day stays on your Mac.

The local-first principle

AgentNotes works by remembering what happens on your computer — what's on your screen, what you hear in calls, what you write. That memory is precisely why we designed the app local-first:

• Screen captures, audio transcriptions, and the activity index never leave your device. They are stored and processed on your Mac and are not uploaded to our servers.
• Insights and summaries derived from your activity are computed and kept locally.
• Agents run on your Mac. When an agent acts in your apps (messages, email, browser), those actions happen from your device, not our cloud.

What we do collect

• Account data. Your email address and name when you create an account or sign in with Google.
• Waitlist data. Your email address and, optionally, the channel you came from when you join the waitlist.
• Notes you sync. If you enable cloud sync, the text of your notes is stored on our servers so they follow you across devices. Attachments and capture data are not synced.
• AI requests. When the app or an agent calls an AI model through our cloud, the request passes through our proxy to the model provider (currently Google Gemini). We meter token usage for billing; we do not use your prompts or content to train models.
• Billing data. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — only your subscription status and a Stripe customer reference.

What we never do

• We do not sell your data. To anyone, ever.
• We do not use your notes, prompts, or captures to train AI models.
• We do not show ads or share data with ad networks.

Emails

If you join the waitlist we'll send you a confirmation and, later, an invite. We send product email sparingly and every message has an unsubscribe link. Transactional email is delivered through Resend.

Data retention & deletion

Local data lives on your Mac and is deleted when you delete it (or uninstall the app). Cloud data — your account, synced notes, and usage records — is deleted when you delete your account. To request deletion of your account or waitlist entry, email hello@agentnotes.cc.

Security

Cloud data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production systems is restricted and credentialed. No system is perfectly secure, but the most sensitive data — your day-to-day capture — never leaves your machine by design.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll note it here and email account holders. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
